If weekend-trips to scenic locations are your thing and capturing the beauty of the world around you gets you excited, then this is the competition for you!

 

Yaycations is calling all amateur filmmakers to travel to one of the world's most breathtaking holiday destinations, to create the ultimate adventure video and in the process win yourself some cash....$10,000 to be exact.

 

The shooting location is Magnetic Island, a tropical island off the coast of North Queensland which is situated in the Great Barrier Reef Marine park and is the epitome of fun and adventure. It is surrounded by reef, littered with historic remains and has a coastline of secret beaches and amazing rock formations.  Best of all, it's just a short commute from Townsville airport making getting there a piece of cake.

 

Once you've entered, we will select a lucky few, who will get their chance to create their own piece of cinematography genius, showcasing Magnetic Island's beauty and all it has to offer.  The island features a wealth of secret locations and untouched tropical beauty that would excite anyone who loves to see life recreated through a lens.  

 

We will shout you your accommodation, meals, island transfers and we will provide discounted Island activities whilst your filming.  Once you are finished, send your video in to win a chance at $10,000 and national publicity! Competition finishes on June 30th and the talented winner will be announced on July 1st.
